Founded in 1842 and established in 1844, The Musical Times is the world's oldest English-language classical music journal. Based in the United Kingdom, it appears four times a year, usually in March, June, September and December, and is available by subscription in print and digital formats. Single current and recent issues may also be obtained. Older issues, dating back to 1844, are archived by JSTOR.
